The consultation on the revision of the Patent Act to implement the motion 22.3014 ‘More transparency in patent rights in the field of plant breeding’ of the Science, Education and Culture Committee of the Council of States (SECC-S) ended on 12 September 2024. A total of 53 opinions were received. The IPI will now assess them. Based on the results of the consultation, a decision will then be made on how to proceed.
