IP Academy – new information services for the Swiss innovation landscape

02.09.2024 | Training, IPI

We’ve always provided individuals, start-ups and SMEs with the best possible information so that they can recognise the potential of their intellectual property and optimally protect and use it.

We’ve now extended our existing offering to include attractive new information services. The focus is on imparting basic knowledge: How can companies adequately protect their innovations and creations? When is the right time to do so? And what should be included in an IP strategy?

The new services are geared to different needs and can be combined as desired:

  • In free online basic workshops, participants quickly learn the most important facts about trade marks, patents and designs.
  • If you’re looking for ad hoc information, you can clarify specific questions in a direct discussion with an IP expert.

New basic search

For inventors looking for an overview of the state of the art in their field of technology, we now offer a basic search under the label ip-search. We conduct the search together with the customer.

Basic searches and other similar searches are also offered by other patent search providers.

In the IP Academy section, you can now find out about the new information services and our full training offering.

Further services will follow shortly. From November 2024, for example, we will be offering an IP Management workshop that sheds light on various IP strategies. Subscribe to our newsletter ‘dips – news about intellectual property in Switzerland’ (in German and French) to stay up to date.
