The design database provides information on all active and cancelled Swiss designs. You will also find the official publications of new registrations and changes to the register. Owners and representatives can manage their IP rights directly via the database.

In the design database, you can find information on all active and cancelled design rights in Switzerland and see their current status and history. You can also search specifically for all official publications, such as new registrations, renewals and cancellations, and monitor them if necessary.

Design applications and internationally filed designs with the designation Switzerland are not included. International filings can be found after publication in the Hague Express Database of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Please be aware that conducting a search in the database before registering a design is not sufficient to rule out anypotential conflict between a design and designs that have already been registered.

Request register changes

As an owner or representative, you can request changes to the register entry for your registered designs directly in the design database.
 
Please note that requests for register changes can only be submitted in German, French or Italian.
