Swissreg is an instrument for preliminary information. For a complete and reliable basis for decision-making, such as about the state of the art or concerning trade marks, we recommend a professional trade mark or patent search by a specialist.

Official organ of publication

The IPI publishes new registrations and changes to the register with legal effect via Swissreg. You can search for these publications using the ‘Publications’ search mask. You can also activate monitoring to be automatically informed about new publications.

Please note that the information in Swissreg is not legally binding. Only the information in the IP rights registers that we manage is legally valid. If you require register extracts, we will be happy to send them to you.
