Related right for the media

The Federal Council proposes that large online service providers should be required to remunerate media companies for the use of their journalistic works. Journalists are to benefit from this too. The Federal Council opened the consultation on the amendment to the Copyright Act (CopA) on 24 May 2023. It will continue until 15 September 2023.
